- credit by trading in designated installed IBM or non-IBM printers and
- purchasing 10 or more of the following replacement products:
- o IBM 4230 Model 201
- o IBM 4230 Model 202.
- The replacement 4230 printers must be ordered on or before

- Customer Agreement (ICA), must occur on or after July 7, 1992, but no
- later than October 30, 1992.
- The amount of credit depends upon both the machine being
- traded in and on the replacement 4230 model. The number of
- replacement printers purchased must be equal to or greater than the
- number of replaced printers.
- All customers are eligible for participation in this
- promotion.
- Customers with existing special bid discounts may elect to
- take advantage of either this promotion or their discount. Products
- acquired under this promotion will, however, count toward special bid
- commitments. This promotion can be combined with all other discounts
- and allowances.
- In accordance with the ICA, products acquired under this
- promotion are not to be resold, leased or transferred to a third
- party and are only for productive use in a qualifying location within
- the United States or Puerto Rico.
- Participation in this trade-in promotion is in lieu of
- trade-in activity under the standard IBM Trade-In Agreement or any
- other trade-in promotion or offering on the replacement products.
- IBM reserves the right to modify or withdraw this promotion at
- any time.
